Two companies announced new WiFi VoIP phones today at CES. The first one is the "Netgear WiFi phone for Skype". This is not confirmed that it's using Linux, but Netgear is known for using Linux across their product line and Skype needs Qt to run. The other products are WNC's GW1 dual mode GSM/WiFi SIP phones. This apparently is running a themed version of Trolltech's latest Qtopia Phone edition with VoIP SIP capabilities. The same company also has two clamshell versions too using the same core (1, 2).

Motorola has unveiled the ROKR E2, its second music phone. Unlike the ROKR E1, the E2 does not have iTunes. The E2 is compatible with iRadio which was also launched today. It is using the new (non-touchscreen) UI Motorola created a few months ago which is using their own version of the Linux OS. More pics here. Please note that this is a high-end feature phone and not a smartphone (because the native SDK will not be provided to developers).
