Microsoft ActiveSync 4.2 released

ActiveSync 4.2 has been in beta for a couple months, and Smartphone Thoughts just posted the news that the final release version of ActiveSync 4.2 is now available for download and installation. AS 4.2 resolves some Outlook error code issues, improves desktop pass through and VPN issues, and improves the way partnerships are handled with multiple devices with the same name syncing with the same desktop.
