REVIEW: NO011 Vaja Case for Nokia E61 (Vitelino)

Vaja, the well-known gadget case company, sent us over their newest product, their Vitelino case for the Nokia E61. Check in for more info and pictures of the product.

The case came in a luxurious white box that had engraved the vaja logo on it. Inside it we also found some printed cards with Vaja's other products. The Vitelino case we received is a blue jean look-alike, but created with pure leather.

The Vitelino case can optionally come with a belt clip or just with the rivet pin so you can use your own belt clip. It requires a bit of force to fit the E61 all the way in the case, but you only do that once and it makes the device secure inside its case.

The Vitelino case comes with a plastic screen protector which is very effective and it blocks glare. It does not distort the screen image, even if the plastic protection itself is a bit distorted.

The case offers access to Pop-Port connector, infrared port and charger socket, it has cut outs for volume keys, the two speaker-sets (with mesh protection), voice recorder button, to the power/profiles button and the email LED indicator. The E61 keyboard is not covered and so the user can easily have access to it.

The Vitelino case has a great feel on the hand. The leather is of very good quality (the smell is still there) and it has a durable design. The case does not make the device feel bigger, although the two clips on the back adds a bit on the thickness of the device. Nevertheless, the case never gets in the way, but it's there to protect.

This case will not really protect much against most liquid accidents, but it will help a lot against scratches and some hard falls. It is a very nice product and the E61 itself deserves a good case anyway!
